Hello folks, here's the list of 5 things I learned and pondered upon in the past week.
1: What I read
I recently finished a short classic novel 'Adolphe' by Benjamin Constant. It's thought to be a real love story of of Constant himself, but regardless, it's a truly moving love tale. But since it's classic, it's much more mature, explorative, thought provoking and moving utmost. For those who are in for a quick read in this winter season, Adolphe is highly recommended.
2: Finished my 25 Books challenge
For the first 5 months of 2019, I couldn't read a single book, for I was struggling to focus on what I'm reading. My back would hurt terribly, and so would my head. So Initially, I set 15 for this year, but I ended up increasing it to 20 and then 25. Thank God, I've reached my goal, and am reading more as well, and this year has truly been profoundly productive and lessonful.
3: Year-End lists
I, against my teachings and practices, am finding myself busy and pressured by the final exams, which starts Dec 29. But being who I am, I will still work and put out my lists of everything best that I explored this year, which includes: books, songs, and movies. Stay tuned.
4: Pal's graduation
I visited Quetta for a couple of days to attend my best friend's convocation. We had finished college (highschool) together, but he was able to avoid gap year and therefore he has ended his bachelors earlier. Ergo, he's always been a guide for me, in both academic and personal situations. I was truly happy to see him enjoy his day, and I'm sure that much is awaiting for this hard working, persistent and component guy.
